Persol PO3416V 95 Eyeglasses – Persol & Olivetti Collection

The PO3416V comes from the collaboration between Persol and Olivetti and is inspired by the Lettera 22, the portable typewriter designed by Marcello Nizzoli in 1950. Rather than copying it, it borrows its details: the bridge features radial engravings recalling the typewriter's mechanics, the hinge carries the Olivetti "O" and the inside of the temples shows the original Lettera 22 logo.

The black acetate front has a rounded shape and is paired with slim metal temples. The tips are rubber-coated and finish with a red detail, like the tabulator key of the Lettera 22. The adjustable nose pads let the frame sit properly on the nose, for a comfortable and stable fit.
