GanglioFid – Support for Visual and Neuronal Function

GanglioFid® is a food supplement from Fidia Farmaceutici formulated with Citicoline (Cognizin®) 500 mg and Niacin 54 mg, designed to support the neuronal function of optical structures and contribute to the preservation of visual function, particularly in patients suffering from glaucoma.

Glaucoma is a chronic degenerative disease whose progression is characterized by visual field loss. Proper dietary supplementation, in conjunction with hypotensive medical therapy prescribed by the doctor, can offer additional support for the protection of nerve cells involved in vision.

Active Ingredients and Benefits

• Citicoline (Cognizin®) 500 mg – A precursor to phosphatidylcholine, it contributes to the transmission of nerve impulses and the protection of neuronal cells in optical structures.
• Niacin (Vitamin B3) 54 mg – Contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and energy metabolism, supporting the trophism of retinal nerve cells.

Bulking agent: sorbitol; Citicoline (Cognizin®); anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweetener: xylitol; niacin (nicotinamide); anti-caking agents: hydroxypropylcellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids, polyvinylpolypyrrolidone, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; flavour, natural flavour; sweeteners: sucralose, neohesperidin DC, acesulfame K.

Directions for Use

It is recommended to take 1 tablet per day. The tablets can be chewed or dissolved in the mouth without the need for water.

Warnings

Food supplements do not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. In case of illness, pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use. Excessive consumption can have laxative effects.
