OPTO Sol has a proven re-epithelializing action thanks to the properties of its components, hyaluronic acid and ginkgo biloba extract. Therefore it can be recommended to all individuals with a suffering corneal epithelium (for example due to excessive or improper use of contact lenses).

Furthermore, OPTO Sol, thanks to the neurotrophic and neuroprotective characteristics of ginkgo biloba, can be recommended to individuals who have undergone anterior segment surgery, to promote a more rapid and regular regeneration of the corneal subepithelial nervous plexus, preventing the possible onset of dry eye syndrome, which is frequent in these cases.

Thanks to its composition, OPTO Sol is able to hydrate and lubricate the ocular surface, replenish and stabilize the tear film and also has a protective and stabilizing action on the corneal epithelium.
