Test 4 – ETDRS chart

The ETDRS chart is a logarithmic chart that measures all levels of visual acuity in a uniform way. It is the chart used in clinical studies and is particularly useful for accurately assessing low visual acuity.

How to do it

  1. Open the chart on a bright screen.
  2. Stand about 2 metres away.
  3. Cover one eye and read the chart with the other, then repeat with the other eye.

This test only gives a rough idea of your visual acuity and does not replace an eye test. Book an appointment at our store in Pieve di Soligo for an accurate measurement.
